a word from our FOUNDER AND CEO
we are women, about women.
Born out of a burning desire to combine our passion of empowering women in sport and the workplace, with our passion of city travel, Level Up Sports was established in 2022 in Barcelona, Spain. We felt it the perfect time when the importance of women’s professional sport has really been highlighted in the press and we are finally getting the professional recognition we deserve and achieving equal pay in some sports and the workplace. Although there is still a long way to go, 2022 saw the women’s Euro football tournament, women’s rugby world cup and the commonwealth games featuring women’s cricket for the first time and we love this! We also love men’s sports (there is no man-bashing here, we love you boys too! and even offer mixed netball), It is simply to emphasise that women, due to societal expectations, often put others before themselves and can sometimes suffer mentally and physically as they are unable to prioritise time for sport and their own wellbeing.
But it’s time to LEVEL UP and we feel the real need for women to jump on the coattails of this upward trend of women’s participation in sport and combine it with a visit to some of the most beautiful cities in the world, what’s not to love!?
Not only do we organise sports tours, we also recognize the importance and need for stronger diversity and inclusion for women in the workplace. Continuing with our mission to help women feel empowered, we also offer corporate days in the UK and Spain for the whole team. There is a strong focus on self-efficacy for women and increased empathy for men along with a general improved team cohesion via our wellness events, designed to enhance solid life skills.
I look forward to personally welcoming you to your city of choice! As a sports mad human (Netballer, Personal Trainer, Bounce Instructor and Black Belt Kickboxer) It is highly likely you will see me itching to join in with your tournament or be wanting to join in with your self-defence sessions at your corporate event! With the team and I having 25 years combined experience in the tourism industry and having lived in all of our cities on offer, we are super excited to make your stay authentic and unforgettable!

To provide bespoke sports packages for women’s teams (including accommodation, restaurants, and transport) and organising tournaments and coaching courses in city locations.
Starting off with a number of sports in the city of Barcelona, with the vision of offering more sports long-term in various Spanish cities in a bid to increase women’s participation in sports.
To provide physical and emotional empowerment courses to local companies for their whole team in Spain and the UK. This includes self-defence classes and self-confidence talks from inspirational women.
